In the unique surroundings of the Lofoten Islands we are offering you the opportunity to do an amazing race – Lofoten Triathlon. The race is set every year in week 33. Lofoten Triathlon will take place 13th till 16th of August 2020, in the town of Svolvær.
COVID-19 UPDATE: Week 33 – Lofoten Triathlon/Lofoten Swimrun:
The race is still on 😊
The new Covid-19 regulations from the Norwegian Government allows sports events up to 200 persons, which means Lofoten Triathlon is still on. YAYYYY! 😊
We have close communication with the local authorities, including the local medical officer Jan Håkon Juul, and we will make the necessary adjustments to meet the current Covid-19 situation. We will do everything we can to make a safe and memorable event for all athletes and volunteers.
The situation is still uncertain for our foreign guests, since the current information from the Norwegian Government says the borders will be closed until 20th of August. However, there is a chance that this will change when we receive updated travel information from the Government 15th of June. We will give a new update when we receive this information.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Lofoten Triathlon 13.-16. August.
