Week 33 – Lofoten Triathlon:
YES, Lofoten Triathlon will go as planned in week 33. Read more information here.
The Arctic Triple – Lofoten Skimo is the truly arctic race in The Arctic Triple and will take place every year in week 11. It’s a ski mountaineering race offering one extreme (4000+) and one normal distance (1000+). The race will be a northern lights race that is set in mid March, when the traditional Lofoten fishing is at the peak of the season. Maybe you’ll get a good catch too?
The Arctic Triple – Lofoten Ultra-Trail® will always take place in week 22. Several distances are offered – 100 miles, 50 miles, 48 km, 24 km, 12 km and 100 or 50 miles relay (10 legs). Starting the 100 miles in iconic Reinefjorden, the 50 miles at Lofotr Viking Museum, 48 km at the Viking Camp at Torvdalshalsen and the 24 KM at a traditional fish factory – all distances are packed with mountains, beaches, green hills and almost the entire time with an ocean view. The new 12 km is a circle course starting and finishing at the main square in Svolvær, crossing the mountain Tjeldbergting, offering a 360-degrees panoramaview of the sea, mountains and Svolvær.
The Arctic Triple – Lofoten Triathlon takes place every year in week 33.
Distances: Extreme, Olympic+, Super sprint, Kids triathlon and Swimrun.
Lofoten Triathlon has a unique set up both due to the amazing surroundings and the fact that the transition zone is in the heart of Svolvær city. We look forward to welcome you to the world’s most beautiful triathlon!
